Original artwork description:

"In Two" was born from an emotional dialogue between two generations – mother and daughter – and from a subtle exchange of sensibilities. The starting point was a work created by my daughter, in which she depicted her own intimate universe: mother, father, and the toys that animate her childhood. I looked at that piece not merely as a child’s drawing, but as an emotional map, a radiography of the world seen through the eyes of innocence.

In "In Two", I sought to capture as faithfully as possible the shapes, colors, and atmosphere of the original, preserving the spontaneity and purity of the child’s gesture, while translating them into the language and materiality of my own painting. I let the colors breathe freely, the forms retain their playful imperfection, and the space remain open to imagination, just as it was in the initial work.

This transposition is more than a simple visual reinterpretation – it is an act of emotional continuity, a bridge between the child’s gaze and the adult’s hand, between play and memory, between the innocent present and the mature gaze that preserves it.
