In this painting, I wanted to speak about trust.
The raven seats calmly on hand of jung woman. She does'n fear it, and it does not fear her. There is no tension between him. There is only quiet understanding.
I believe that when we trust the world around us, it responds with the same gentleness. When we stop expecting danger, we begin to notice protection. The raven in this work is a guardian presence. It looks outward, attentive, aware, while the woman remains calm and at ease.
She does not hold the bird tightly. She simply allows it to be there. This feeling of comfort and quiet connection was important to her.
This work is part of my ongoing series exploring the relationship between a woman and powerful animals - not through dominance or fear, but through mutual trust and respect.
Oil on canvas, 50 × 80 cm.
Enjoy my art.
