The figure of female relaxed is merges with a swirl of colors that echo her mood — warm tones of gold and rose meeting cool blues and violets. Rather than aiming for realism, I wanted to express the sensation of a moment suspended between thought and feeling, where light, color, and emotion dissolve into one another. It’s less a portrait of a person than of an atmosphere — a reverie rendered in watercolor.
The works are done with watercolor on paper.
