In the Foggy Dawn, I See You — Original Abstract Painting by Kris Haas (Of & Being Series)
Description:
In the Foggy Dawn, I See You is an original work from my ongoing Of & Being series — a body of paintings shaped by intuition, movement, and the subtle emotional currents that surface in moments of quiet recognition.
This piece carries the softness of early light: a wash of vivid pinks, gentle greens, and grounded neutrals moving across the canvas like a landscape awakening. It is both luminous and contemplative — a meeting place between clarity and haze, where forms dissolve and reappear as if seen through memory or morning mist.
Sweeping gestures, layered color fields, and handwritten marks give the painting its pulse. It has an openness to it, a sense of breath, offering the viewer a moment to pause, feel, and settle into what it means to truly “see” — both oneself and the world in front of us.
Created with acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas, the work is finished with protective varnish and arrives ready to hang.

Artist Statement for This Work
The Of & Being series explores the quiet spaces inside us — those transitional moments where feeling meets form and the unseen becomes visible. In the Foggy Dawn, I See You was created through intuitive layering, erasure, and gesture, allowing the painting to reveal its own shape of presence. It captures a moment of recognition: the soft clarity that rises not from certainty, but from openness.
I have sold and sent out over 2000 paintings since I first started selling online in 2009, and have shipped to countries such as Australia, Singapore, Dubai, France, UK and many others so you can purchase with confidence from me.
