Original artwork description
Artists yearn for plein air painting in the botanical garden right after the
fade. The experience is unmatched, with an intoxicating fragrance and a lavish palette of colors that seem to ascend amidst the clouds. This piece was created on an evening just before rainfall, when the scent of lilacs grew even more potent. The onset of rain, with its large initial drops, made a striking scene as they fell heavily onto the canvases, tracing beautiful streaks. The artwork is vibrant and emotive. I cherish it for the narrative of its creation and its emotional depth.
My works are created in an expressionist style, supported and based on fundamental knowledge of realistic and impressionist painting schools. Quality oil paints were used in the creation of the painting. It is made and shipped on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. The work is ready to hang and has painted edges. The artwork is signed on the front and back and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
