Original artwork description
My concept of a farmgirl in the middle or late 19th century. Perhaps an overly romantic idealization of mine. In her spare time , she is a musician, probably a fairly good one. She has no cell phone or social media, or TV , so , even though her hours of work are long, she still perhaps has more time for her music.
Her work is sometimes hard , even dangerous, as symbolized by the scar on her face; perhaps she had an accident with some farm machinery, or an unhappy incident with an animal.
The piece is painted around the sides , and so framing is optional.
