A solitary tree stands ablaze with gold against a hushed lavender sky, its branches overflowing with colour in a place touched by no one else. Built through dense, tactile layers of impasto, the canopy seems to tremble with light, abundant, almost defiant, in its isolation. Below, a deep field of indigo grounds the tree in quiet distance, the kind of stillness found only far from anywhere familiar.
In Lonesome Place considers what it means to flourish unseen — that solitude need not mean diminishment, and that the loneliest places can still hold the most radiant life.
