This work plays with the tension between control and anticipation. Everything seems perfectly balanced – the precision of glass, the calm symmetry, the clarity of light. And yet, there’s an almost imperceptible tension, as if the scene is holding its breath.
I was drawn to the dialogue between structure and vitality: the rigid glass, the fluid water, the organic branch. It’s about the quiet power that arises when nothing happens – yet everything could. “In Anticipation” is not a traditional still life but a frozen moment just before change.
