Dale Chihuly, is an American glass sculptor and entrepreneur. His works are considered unique to the field of blown glass, "moving it into the realm of large-scale sculpture". His work was installed at the Denver Botanic Gardens in recent years and this painting was inspired by one of his blown glass installation in a pond. What struck me were the reflections of the glass in the water and the vibrant colors.
