This is from my local forest on the border of Limousine France. The forest is also a nature reserve, home to rare amphibians, butteflies and birds. It was one of the blissful reteats I could return to during the pandemic measures..
It is painted with professional oil paints on Italian canvasboard (canvas attached to wood), and left for more than a year before varnishing.
