Impossible Merger

Some distances cannot be crossed, no matter how close they appear.

Impossible Merger is about the quiet tension between two presences that stand side by side, shaped by the same fire, yet remain profoundly different. One carries softness, the other resistance. They share a single foundation, but neither gives up its own nature.

The work reflects those moments in life when we wish for complete understanding, perfect harmony, or absolute belonging, only to discover that not everything is meant to merge. Sometimes coexistence is the closest form of connection we can reach.

Hand-built in stoneware, the vessel embraces asymmetry, raw textures, and restrained glazing, where contrast becomes not conflict, but truth.

Materials used:

white stoneware, clay, glazes
