Imaginary Chairs is a series of 12 mini collage works.
I entertained myself with wondering and assembling... if I entered 'chairs with arms' or 'chairs with legs' into an Ai image generator what I might get in return.... If you've ever tried it the results can be quite bonkers!

This is my human response to provoking a visual dialogue between the relationship of human creativity and Ai. Just to be clear, no Ai was used in the making of these!

So here's my take on Ai armchairs! Receive number #2 and #8 from the series which look great as a pair.
Each collage is 10 x 6.5cm and assembled on mount board before further mounting onto a 5x7 inch black and white mount board, elevating the collage by about 1/2 cm and housed in a crisp white acrylic box frame with real glass.

I'm now left with a lot of legless girls that are quite armless!

Receive this wrapped and securely sent in a box with tracking. A signature will be required on receipt of delivery.

Materials used:

Vintage and new magazine. Acid free glue, mount board and acrylic frame.
