Crafted from ceramic modeling clay, beads, and metal wire, the piece references religious iconography — particularly the figure of the Virgin Mary — reimagined through a personal and contemporary lens. The illuminated face symbolizes the visible identity, while the shadow evokes memories, emotions, vulnerability, and the complexity of inner experience.
