“I’ll Be Seeing You”, is my depiction of my very favorite spot in all of Paris. I first stepped into the Luxembourg Gardens, my seventh day living in the city, after I’d just learned that my work had been accepted for Representation by the oldest, most renowned Galerie in Paris! ( This Galerie had represented notables such as Picasso, Chagall, Buffett, during their history.) The Peace, and Elegance of this Garden took my breath away, and it would end up being the place I sketched and photographed over my thirty years living in France, more so than anywhere else. I thought it finally time to properly capture this Garden in paint. The edges of the canvas are painted, so that it can be hung, unframed.
