I’ve been loaded up with large, painstaking private commissions for weeks, so I decided to take a little breather and paint something straight out of my thoughts lately… A Simple Café Scène, in a palette of Ochre and Blues, includes the essentials; a Checked Floor and vases of Flowers. This canvas is painted around the edges so the painting can be hung, unframed.
