Original artwork description
This work is part of the COMPABLO series consisting of 21 paintings with references to the works and figure of Picasso confronting me with his Genius.
In the figurative part of the picture I reinterpreted a work by Picasso entitled IL SOGNO precisely ... which represents Marie-Thérèse while she rests.
I have always liked Picasso's work for its simplicity in describing such an intimate moment of his beloved and I tried to interpret it by painting it.
the background is very colorful and material, I made the ripples with plaster and glue, while the castings I obtained by sliding the enamel from a brush.
with the works of this series, a solo exhibition entitled 'COMPABLO' was organized at the Municipality of Burago di Molgora (MI) in 2006 and this work was on display.
The work is signed on the front and back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
for non-EU shipments, it is necessary to wait for authorization from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and this could lead to a delay of a few days
