In "Il Gioco," I've blended impressionism and symbolism with a hint of metaphysics, creating an air of mystery and contemplation. Using charcoal and pigments, I've built an ethereal image that blurs the line between dream and reality. The bicycle wheels, more than just tangible objects, represent the constant motion of life. The figure, fading into shadow, whispers of the challenges inherent in human perception.
Technically, the painting comes to life through layers of pigment dust, carefully placed or blown onto a prepared flat surface. This technique lends itself to the themes of the artwork.
