Handcrafted sculpture on Lecce stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra." The Courage to Dream" is a work that embodies the essence of adventure, a leap into the unknown, where the heart soars on the wings of uncertainty. Dreams, like butterflies, chase each other, chase each other, and sculpture becomes the symbol of this search.
The work is entirely done by hand on this stone which is found only in a very few areas of southern Italy, namely in lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back approximately twenty million years (such as shells, marine plants and shark teeth), makes it suitable for working details. The external structure is made of Corten iron.
The sculpture "The Courage to Dream" like every work by Andrea Serra, being hand-carved, is unique and signed in engraving by the artist.
