Original artwork description
several years ago, standing with my back to the sea, I did an Ink Sketch of the colorful cluster of Ancient houses that overlook the Mediterranean. Coming across this sketch recently, I was inspired to finally Paint the Scene. I had so much fun choosing which details to include from the various windows and terraces, as I built my version of Menton’s “Vieux Ville”. This canvas is painted around the edges, so the painting can be hung unframed, if preferred.
