Iceland Painting, Iceland Sunset, Landscape Painting
During and after a summers wonderful backpacking visit to Iceland, I made many paintings and drawings; some of the most spectacular landscape I have ever walked on.
This wax resist, ink and watercolour painting is unframed on medium card which has been sized and primed
The painting has a similarity in appearance with a print, but these are not prints, This quality comes from the process of using wax resist and Indian ink, and then heating and pressing the work. this results in an unusual texture which may look a bit like a printed surface.
