Original artwork description
This is an acrylic semi-abstract figurative painting on a textured stretched canvas. It is part of a cycle about the myth of Icarus and was included in a solo exhibition held from 19.09 to 2.10.2018 by the name "Directions Beyond... Myth And Modernity". The painting is titled "Free Flying". It measures 63 x 98 x 2 cm. The edges are painted grey and it's ready to hang. The painting is lacquered with protective varnish.
"In this cycle, I explore the man's desire to fly, to rise above every day's life with all the senseless details that makes it up. But also the possibility of failure and fall caused by the haughtiness and spiritual arrogance to which the self-forgetting and the intoxication of the spirit leads while in elevation and flight".
The presented painting is an unique work of art. The artist declares that this work will never be repainted or duplicated and the image will not be used for giclee prints.
Along with the painting you will receive a Certificate Of Authenticity with your name as a first owner signed by the artist.
It will be shipped registered airmail with tracking number. To West Europe it takes about a week and to the States two weeks for delivery.
