Original artwork description:

I started this series of paintings back in 2012 with Forever Summer and I love coming back to it as it brings back beautiful memories of a family holiday on K'Gari. It was in December and it was so hot but the kids had great fun tobogganing on the sand dunes. They're all grown now so it makes me nostalgic when I paint these scenes.
The little girl in this piece is my daughter and with her now living in Edinburgh, painting her was delightful - in a way it was like she was home again.
