Title of each panel from left to right: I listen, I hear paint, The sound, The radio, Goes on.
Golden and Liquidex pro acrylic colour on thai handmade mulberry paper(kada sa) , deckled edges, each panel 9.5 x 13.5 in., 24x 34cm, first panel slightly larger.
Abstract. Every now and again I decide to work with this amazing thick parchment paper. Here once again, followed the music, with my brush. While I was aware of rythms, it may have been the little sounds that also caught my attention. The rest is for your imagination. The whole project works as a set of 5 with one panel flowing into the next, yet each panel stands well on its own. The colours are applied in varying thicknesses for a creamy texture on the parchment paper.
I present it here as a complete set, but each panel available separately, or as a set (while still available), or in any combination. Each panel looks good all by itself.

Painted on a traditional mulberry paper handmade in Thailand. It’s a thick parchment like paper, strong, yet pliable. I have the paper made to this size to get the deckled edges which adds to the textural effect.
