Original artwork description
Hummingbird Green was inspired from travelling the coast of Brazil. I fell in love with the country and its diversity. The high concentration of flora and fauna in their natural environment were simply stunning.
I love the mix of contemporary with fine art. I used acrylic paint for large areas of block colour. I used the influence of art deco in this piece, keeping it minimal but dramatic.
This piece is featured in The Last Word In Design section of TATLER INTERIORS - Winter edition 2021.
