A favourite street in Hull, a glimpse of how the city used to be once. A Georgian terrace, narrow, full of colorful stucco frontages and filled with a quintessential English charm. The alleyway is overlooked by the church, whose bells fill the air with a haunting magic. A haven of peace. At night, I imagine I can hear the ghostly footsteps of press-gangs. On a summer’s morning, the air is filled with blossom. I love this view of Hull. The work is a great souvenir of the city, a perfect gift. Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
