I love this view of Hull. I can see all the city from here. A place I have known all my life. A place of childhood. Hull excites me for this reason. Walks of rediscovery and reconnection, a place of dark shadows and ancient cobbles, of exciting post-war architecture and nostalgic pilgrimage. I love this city. This work sets the city centre in one scene, under a East Yorkshire sky. It is on a 0.4 inch deep canvas and can hang without the need for framing if wished. An ideal souvenir of Hull, and a wonderful gift.
