How surreal does this work seem to you? Will the giant octopus tentacle distract your attention from the absurd text on the sign? And what's with the solo hanging hand on the side there? Is that...melting candy?

So many questions that remain unanswered, as this work gradually becomes more and more visible to your subconscious mind.

One one hand, there are definitely a lot of elements to this composition; as if the artist wanted to overwhelm the eye with visual stimulants. On the other, there's this very specific atmosphere of serenity to the work. A marine landscape of a boat - on which a giant American-style sign is serving as a mast.

This work of considerable size will definitely be the subject of discussion in its new home.
