I painted this street of Nice in the heat of midday, when the walls breathed fire and color.
The lamp, like an old guardian, leaned over me, watching every brushstroke.
The paint flowed thickly, almost like molten light, absorbing the noise and silence of the city.
In these buildings, I saw character—stubborn, warm, and slightly weary from the sun.
And in the end, what remained on the canvas was not just a street, but my own feeling of southern heat.
