"Horizon Before Nightfall" captures a brief moment at the end of the day, when the light begins to fade and everything feels quieter. It reflects my interest in those in-between states, where nothing dramatic happens, but a subtle shift is taking place. The vertical lines suggest a horizon rather than a specific place. The lower section carries weight and rhythm through repetition and layered marks, while the upper area remains open and softer, creating a sense of pause and space.

This work is part of my Horizon series, where repetition and structure are used to hint at an abstract landscape.

The total canvas size is 171 x 106 cm. Once stretched the artwork will continue to the sides of the frame. It will be carefully rolled and shipped in a tube for safe international delivery and can be easily and affordably stretched at your local framing store.
