Medium: Acrylic paint, acrylic marker and water color pencil on stretched canvas.

Size: 100x80cm (39.4" x 31.5").

The painting continues to the sides of the canvas 2.5cm (1.0"). The artwork has been finished with a gloss varnish to protect against UV and dust.

"Hope You Like Jamming Too" came together through a process of layering and adjustment. I’m influenced by geometric abstraction and cubism, but I like to soften that structure with more expressive marks, visible brush work and patterning. The title came from a song lyric in my head while I was painting, "I hope you like jammin' too". This artwork will make a bold statement in any space.

The work is part of my ongoing practice exploring rhythm, repetition, and the balance between control and improvisation, where forms “jam” together much like musicians in a shared session. See my "Flowstate Collection" to explore similar works.
