Using drawing with ideas in mixed medium, incorporated into my driftwood art, taking folk art to ephemeral art in sculptural. The open wall is a sketch of a 1980's kitchen to create an open wall.
Abstracted fantasy, dreamlike, mystery, homeliness with a dark side bordering on the liminal of uncanny... sitting on a dark piece of driftwood that has either been marked by oils in the water or from the old way of staining wood frames in tarnish in the 1940's. It beautifully rich and rustic in colour.
