I came across these Hollyhocks last week whilst walking in the park, I felt like I had walked into a wall of flowers the blooms of pink and red where over eight foot high, I just had to paint this scene ! It was a joy to create this artwork its such a classic summer painting.
The paint was applied to the canvas with a palette knife creating texture and depth, the painting is signed on the front ,sold unframed and ready to hang.
