Evocative moodscape based on the ever changing landscapes of the beautiful highlands as the weather performs a theatrical dance on this natural stage. The work is rendered semi-abstract by the use of ribboning paint-strokes and slightly surreal forms of hillsides. The painting attempts to capture the potent atmosphere found in Scotland: the quick falling mists and jewel coloured plains which are such magical nourishment to the soul.
