Artwork description:

The tangled branches of the ancient trees in Highgate Wood, North London, early evening.

This is a handmade colour etching. Starting with a pencil sketch, I redraw the image onto a wax grounded zinc plate with a needle. The plate is then placed in acid which ‘bites’ the exposed line, leaving grooves to hold ink. The plate is inked up for every print in the edition.

Orders are carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue paper, flat-packed between two layers of board and dispatched signed and tracked within four days.
