Artwork description:
High Water features a pirate ship, explorer ship, sailboat, and wind vanes. It was made in 3D software, and all of the objects and characters are modeled with camera, lighting, and backdrop picture sets. As shown in my most recent composition, I use Photoshop filters to add antique effects and muted hues to reproduce the nostalgia, ambient, and feel of a forestry setting. Collectors of art may see a symbolic reference to surrealist painters like Salvador Dali and Rene Magritte.
Materials used:
printed with pigment ink on archival matte fine art paper, heavy weight (230 gsm), thick base (9.5 mil)
