I watched this Heron fishing in the shallows of the River Tyne above Hexham and I liked the way it was highlighted against the reeds of the far bank. The water was moving fast but the heron wasn't. This is a lino and screen printed work. This print is one of a limited edition of 30 of which I have printed just seven. The prints are printed by hand which means that each print is subtly different.
Printed on 300 grm paper in water based and oil based inks and mounted in Ice White. For buyers in the UK my prints are all mounted ready to drop into standard size, readily available frames. This particular print fits a 50x50 frame. The aim is to make it easy for you to get the picture on your wall and to keep the costs of buying and displaying original artworks as low as possible. The prints are packaged in cellophane, bubble wrap and protected by a reinforced cardboard envelope. Outside the UK postage costs make it too expensive to send large mounted prints so the 50x50 prints are delivered rolled in a tube.
