Part of my latest collection of 2025 - 'In The Fifth'.
There’s a space that lives beyond the body, beyond thought, beyond what we can name. In Hindu and Buddhist thought, it’s called the Fifth Element - Ether, or Akasha. The invisible space that holds everything. It lives between the elements - the quiet, the breath, the remembering.
There are five unique paintings in this series that came from that quiet place within. A place both familiar and unknown - like a memory I never lived, but somehow still remember. Each piece holds a subtle truth: a moment of release., a fragment of feeling, a breath of stillness.
Their raw and rich textures are painted in a palette drawn from land, sea and soul. They are meant to hold space. To offer softness. To invite you into your own Fifth – your own inner place of stillness and knowing.
