“‘Heaven Can Wait’ presents us with an abstract path, drawn in dark and gray colors, that appears to ascend. At its side, breaking the darkness of the path, we glimpse an intensely blue sky, a promise of clarity and hope. The path itself reveals itself to be challenging, marked by shapes that suggest torches with reddish tips or perhaps wires and thorns, pointing out the obstacles inherent in the journey.

This work is born from the profound need for introspection, for immersing oneself through daily meditation, seeking to unravel the essence of being. The dark path symbolizes that often arduous and challenging inner journey, while the blue sky represents the peace or understanding that is glimpsed as a reward, without the final goal preventing us from appreciating each step of the present.

Made as a monoprint with special printmaking ink on 300g art paper, the uniqueness of the technique reinforces the idea that each step on this path—both artistic and vital—is unique and unrepeatable. It is the material reflection of a personal and universal quest: that the destination can await, for true richness lies in the experience and learning from the journey itself.
