Original artwork description
Original imagined expressive summer landscape with rocks & flowering purple heathers and yellow Gorse lining a winding path that retreats into the distant mountains - inspired by the British Peak district landscape and the Scottish Highlands in summer. Created in mixed media through experimentation with colour, form and value using abstract shapes and devices. I have used watercolours layered with inks followed by acrylics and these were then developed further using acrylic ink, painted in May 2018. One of two similar works created.
