Original artwork description:

This painting was inspired by the beautiful heathery moorland landscapes of North Yorkshire and Scotland . I love the various shades of pink cerise and magenta and how they contrast with the bracken and grasses in these unique landscapes.

I've tried to capture some of the atmosphere of the landscape in this painting by using collaged fragments of many different hand painted pieces of paper, with nearly every piece incorporating a different watermedia technique.

This painting is sold sold mounted and framed in a simple white frame with perspex and is ready to hang.
