Impressionistic landscape.

Winter colours in my garden, dark rich tones with a wintery pink sky. I am profoundly inspired by the natural world around me, and try to catch the magic, light and beauty which I see every day.

I love to use lots of watercolour like layers of quality acrylic paint, (Golden and Lascaux mainly) and build up the painting quite slowly, I then drop, and spatter paint to create a rich varied paint surface.

This painting is 50x100cm, it is unframed and has white painted edges. It is strung with picture cord ready to hang.

Materials used:

acrylic paint on canvas
