Original artwork description
I enjoyed playing with patterns and different blues on this canvas. I didnt want the heart to stand out too much from the background so I've blended it with flowers and birds.
I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
