Eye-catching quilling art that will brighten every place.
This Quilling Wall Art is made from 5mm strips of paper. All the strips are cut by hand. The image is glued in white cardboard and is placed in a deep white frame with mat and glass, ready to be hung. The colours make this piece a unique and memorable gift.

Quilling
Quilling or paper filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create designs. Although its exact origins are a mystery the art of quilling is thought to have originated in Ancient Egypt by the nuns. More recently quilling has been practiced as an art form in Renaissance France/Italy as well as in 18th century England. Today, quilling is seeing a resurgence in popularity. Quilling can be found in art galleries in Europe and in the United States and is an art that is practiced around the world.
