Hear No Evil (2025)Ink drawing

£436.1

This work speaks of the right to keep destructive sounds away and of the quiet art of preserving one’s own silence. Eyes closed, palms gently covering the ears, shutting out noise and deceit. Flowers and leaves intertwine with the hands, forming a soft armor.
"Hear No Evil" part of the triptych "There is no evil". This triptych is a contemporary interpretation of the ancient Eastern wisdom of the three monkeys who see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil. In my vision, these gestures are not naive denial but a profound inner practice of preserving one’s emotional balance.
Each piece is created in the meditative pointillism technique: thousands of tiny dots form faces, hands, and flowers, producing a living, vibrating texture. The flowers are not mere decoration but a shield of purity, a delicate fabric of the inner world we choose to cultivate.
This cycle is about choice. About the right to protect oneself from the destructive and to preserve a space of silence where kindness can grow.
