His Havana Cabana Series is inspired by the memories of a recent family cruise to the Carribean. The crusie ship has a Havana-themed section with vibrant greens, yellows, whites, browns, etc. The colors of the deep ocean, shallow sand bars, beaches and waves; the sky, the sun and clouds, all collide in his memories.

This piece is inspired by the art of Piet Mondrian, Theo van Doesburg, Pablo Picasso, Hans Hoffman, Robert Motherwell, and Clifford Still.
