Yup; this is my outlook; a glimpse into my Artist's soul... As I say goodbye to another year of my life, I wanted to paint an image that reflects.. well, me.... Basically, this is a Self Portrait.... ( You can't fake happy, right?) More a decorative piece than many of mine lately, I loved taking liberties with the flowers and leaves... Pretty much all of my paintings include Birds; Cheerful Chirps, curiously collected to add snippets of Color and character, and because Birds represent arrivals, or departures, in life... This canvas is painted around the edges, so that it can be hung unframed....
