Hands that are raised to the sky. Hands that ask and wait. Hands that give thanks and hope. This work consists of two canvases. This is a diptych.
A sensation of movement, elevation, and revelation—as if two large streams of light or energy are converging, creating vibration and tension in the center. The folded, multi-layered white and pastel lines resemble either wings, traces of intense brushwork, or scattered waves of light.
This painting was made using acrylic and oil paints. There are small textures in the picture. This picture is ready to hang. The edges of the painting are painted over and this painting does not need a frame.
