My partner and I ambled through the landscape in this painting on a glorious Easter Sunday, whilst following the Hall Walk, leading us through Bodinnick, Polruan and Fowey. We came upon a lovely church, just catching the final hymn of their Easter Service. We later realised this was where Daphne Du Maurier was married, following her whirlwind romance with Sir Frederick Browning.
