Original artwork description
A pear cut in half showing the core. For us humans, the juicy sweet flesh is the most important thing. But the carelessly discarded core contains the pear's most precious treasure - the seeds, which are supposed to guarantee the survival of the species. The background is deliberately monochromatic and lacks depth in order to draw full attention to the fruit. The entire composition is kept minimalist on purpose.
