In this painting, I sought to capture the innocence and boundless curiosity of childhood, intertwined with dreams of futuristic exploration. Using oil, I blended realism with surrealism to evoke both wonder and nostalgia. The floating child, Spacebaby, wearing a space helmet, symbolizes a sense of adventure and hope. In this particular scene, Spacebaby has discovered a new habitable planet—a place with a breathable atmosphere. That’s why the helmet visor is lifted, revealing a moment of calm and connection with this newfound world. Drifting rocket as if in orbit, the little astronaut evokes the awe of zero gravity and the silent vastness of space. This image fills any environment with a dreamy energy, inviting viewers to embrace imagination, the pioneering spirit of space exploration, and the limitless possibilities of the universe—from first artificial satellite and lunar landings to distant, life-sustaining planets.
